This past weekend Courtney and Alex flew in from the west coast for their Craggy Gardens engagement session, and were rewarded with one of the most gorgeous mountain sunsets I’ve seen this year. We met up for drinks beforehand to get to know each other better and spent the drive up talking about their plans for their December wedding and marveling over the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. These two have a quiet strength to their relationship that came out in their photos. We laughed, cried (really!), and frolicked our way up the mountain, reaching the summit just in time for the sun to dip below the horizon. It was a gorgeous evening with a wonderful couple in love. Can’t wait for their December Crest Center wedding!!
