“And at once I knew I was not magnificent
High above the highway aisle
Jagged vacance, thick with ice
But I could see for miles, miles, miles”
…
Meredith and Joe have made their life one big adventure. They’ve been together for nearly a decade and take every day as it comes. I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week in Iceland with them, exploring the vast landscape of this wild, magic country. We spent two of those days, them in wedding clothes, me with my cameras in tow, climbing waterfalls, hiking up canyons, and watching the sun turn gold over vast lava fields as the day came to an end. These two know how to celebrate their anniversary, half portrait shoot, half Iceland elopement/vow renewal. From exchanging love letters at the base of a hidden waterfall to running across waving fields of lush green grass, to drinking champagne out of shot glasses in our warm tiny house, they made the celebration entirely their own and it was such an honor to be along for the ride.
No more words I could say will do more than just letting the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy.
