Your wedding day should be about you and your spouse, and the commitment you’re making to each other. You two should celebrate that commitment however feels right to you! You’ve decided to keep some of the elements of a traditional wedding, but you’re not sure all of them are really you. Maybe bouquet tosses make you feel sad for calling out your single friends, and the garter toss? Let’s not even go there. You like the idea of having a wedding party, but don’t really want to spend an hour taking photos of everyone in a line awkwardly laughing at each other. You want to party all night with alllll your best friends, but also want some time to yourselves, just you and your spouse on your wedding day. So what do you do? Are you just stuck having a wedding day that isn’t everything you dreamed it would be?

Sit down with your spouse and really think about what you want your day to feel like. How you want to enjoy it. We love to travel the world (20 countries between us and counting!), seek out hidden bars, float down rivers, jump off waterfalls, and wear our Chacos year-round. We’ve climbed Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park, drank wine under the Eiffel Tower, accidentally bagged a Munro, cliff jumped in the Cinque Terre, Bermuda, Canada, and the Appalachian Mountains, bar hopped in Dublin, hiked the Spanish coast, camped in a hurricane, snorkeled the Mediterranean more times than we can count, and driven on the left side of the road numerous times. Jake is a master fire builder. Carolyn can lick her elbow. We can both drive stick.

Get the entire story of your wedding weekend told with one half day and one full day (4 hours and up to 12 hours, respectively) of coverage. All your best friends are in one place for one magical weekend, why not document the whole thing! Get awesome photos of your rehearsal dinner and welcome party, as well as your entire wedding day. Full day coverage of your day means you can plan the day around on what you want to do, not around how many hours of photography coverage you have. Not having a rehearsal dinner? Use your half day for an awesome trash the dress after-wedding session on a mountaintop a day or two after your wedding day! Or even better, have your own private elopement ceremony the day before or after your big wedding, and share that intimate moment just the two of you. The best of both worlds!
