Lauren + Samuel’s Elegant Spring Wedding at The Farm | Candler, NC Wedding Photography
On a crisp March afternoon in the rolling hills of Candler, NC, Lauren and Samuel said “I do” surrounded by sweeping mountain views and their closest loved ones. The Farm, with its blend of rustic charm and refined elegance, offered the perfect backdrop for this intimate and joy-filled celebration.
Getting Ready at The Farm’s Cozy Cabins
The day began in the warm and inviting Chestnut Cabin where Lauren prepped with her bridesmaids, while Samuel got ready just a short walk away at Morgan Cottage. There’s something truly special about couples getting ready on the same property—it keeps the day relaxed and logistically seamless, especially when it’s time for that magical first look.
A Private First Look at the Chicken Chapel
Tucked away on The Farm’s expansive grounds, Lauren and Samuel shared a quiet first look at the whimsical Chicken Chapel. With spring sunshine pouring through the trees, they exchanged private vows and gifts before the whirlwind of the day truly began. These slow, unscripted moments gave them space to soak it all in and connect deeply before their ceremony.
Family Photos, Furry Friends & Golden Light
After some candid time with their wedding party and a round of heartfelt family portraits, Lauren and Samuel were ready to walk down the aisle. Their dog Max—appropriately dubbed The Bestest Boy—made a few appearances throughout the day, adding a personal (and very adorable) touch to their photos.
A Ceremony on the Lawn & Cocktails in the Sunset
The Wedding Gazebo lawn at The Farm never disappoints, and this ceremony was no exception. With 75 guests looking on and spring in the air, Lauren and Samuel were officially married! After the ceremony, they mingled during cocktail hour while we captured a few golden hour portraits under the last light of day.
Dinner, Toasts, and a Packed Dance Floor
Guests were invited into the Event Center for a cozy family-style dinner, punctuated by heartfelt toasts from loved ones. Just as the sun dipped below the mountains, Lauren and Samuel took the floor for their first dance, followed by the kind of joyful, high-energy dance party that every couple dreams of.
Every detail—from the intimate pre-ceremony moments to the laughter-filled reception—was a beautiful reflection of Lauren and Samuel’s connection and the community they’ve built around them.
