Katie and Kent came from Chapel Hill for their engagement shoot late last fall, and we had a blast exploring downtown before heading up the parkway for their Graveyard Fields Engagement Session. We started the day with brunch at Biscuit Head (not pictured as I was busy stuffing my face with a mimosa fried chicken biscuit) and then headed to Vortex Doughnuts for coffee and delicious confections. Once everyone was fully caffeinated we drove up the Blue Ridge Parkway to explore one of my favorite places, Graveyard Fields. The blueberries were just past their bright red peak but there was still some color left, and I’m so glad we made the drive up there! I love it when couples are up for a hike! In 2016 I have a ton of engagement shoots lined up with the intention of getting out doors and exploring the area around Asheville. Can’t wait to start shooting and sharing those as well!
