On a golden spring day in May, Piper and Ean tied the knot surrounded by their favorite people at The Parker Mill in Whittier, NC. With mountains all around and a day full of celebration and joy, these two created a wedding experience that was equal parts meaningful and wildly fun.
Getting Ready at the Mill
From the very beginning, Piper and Ean made the most of their time at The Parker Mill. With hair and makeup wrapping up, the morning buzzed with excitement. Piper, surrounded by her closest friends and family, slipped into her dress and sparkly boots (yes, boots!) while Ean donned socks printed with their pup Bailey’s face. It was one of those mornings full of laughter, anticipation, and a touch of sparkle.
Their first look was tucked into a quiet spot just off the main venue—a moment to breathe, to exchange private vows, and soak it all in before the day unfolded. From there, portraits, a champagne toast with their wedding party, and joyful family hugs set the tone for what was to come.
A Heartfelt Ceremony in the Mountains
Their ceremony, officiated by Ean’s sister Devon, was full of thoughtful touches, including a ring-warming tradition that invited loved ones to pass their rings and infuse them with well-wishes. Piper walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, and the look on Ean’s face said it all.
After “I do,” there were more family photos, spontaneous hugs, and a joyful round of cheers during cocktail hour. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, guests gathered in the reception space for dinner and toasts that brought both laughter and a few happy tears.
An Epic Celebration Under the Stars
From their first dance to a surprise sister-choreographed number (SISTA/SISTA forever!) and a dance floor lit by sneakers that literally glowed—the night just kept getting better. Guests snapped Polaroids for their guestbook, picked out temporary tattoos, and danced under string lights late into the night. Their sparkler exit was nothing short of electric.
