When Chelsey first contacted me about her wedding to Tom, I squealed with excitement! Chelsey is a wonderful photojournalist herself, and has second shot for me a few times. Somehow I had missed her engagement announcement, so her inquiry was a double happy surprise! And when she said they wanted to come up from the Charlotte area to Asheville to do their engagement shoot I was so excited. We planned a gorgeous sunrise engagement shoot at Waterrock Knob and they came out for the weekend. But when the day of the shoot dawned, it wasn’t clear and glorious as we had hoped but rather foggy and damp. We decided to go for it anyways and I’m so glad we did! Shooting in fog is such a cool experience, and is the kind of think you can never really plan for. So when it happens and I get to create these unique, dreamy images, I am a happy camper. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did creating them!
