Amber and Maurice made their day fully theirs with a secret waterfall elopement in Asheville. With just the two of them, their daughter, and their best friend who married them, they professed their love in the most gorgeous, private location amongst the woods. The day was simply incredible.
Amber and Maurice were able to use a private Airbnb property to get ready for their elopement. This is such a great idea for couples looking for a private location near beautiful locations, such as this waterfall.
Amber and Maurice wanted plenty of personal touches to their wedding day. They incorporated a lovely altar with personal items that held meaning to them and their relationship. It created the most gorgeous island of intentionality in the midst of all the ferns and trees.

After their ceremony, we hiked up to the waterfall which was running a bit low because it was the middle of summer. Despite the low water, they were such champs and waded right into the water to get the best shots with the flow that was there! Their adventurous spirits put so much life into their portraits.
It’s so important on your wedding day, or even at your private elopement, to take some time to sneak away. Not just for the photos, but also to spend a moment soaking in one another on your day.
We loved documenting the love at this secret waterfall elopement in Asheville.
